The Cat in the Hat, Horton the Elephant and the Whos are just a few of the beloved Dr. Seuss characters which will magically come alive next year as Christian Youth Theater Houston presents its Winter 2010 production of Seussical Jr.
Written and composed by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, CYT Houston’s adaptation will be directed by Ruth Broussard and features an ensemble cast of students, ages eight through eighteen, from the Spring/Woodlands area.

Broken Cords Concert

Broken Cords is a benefit concert to raise awareness of human trafficking in Houston, Texas. The brainchild of siblings Stephen, Melanie and Dianna Muldrow, Broken Cords’ aim is to show that individuals of all ages can help identify and prevent the modern-day enslavement of children, women and men. Featuring world-class musicians who have performed throughout the United States, Europe and Asia, the concert will take place at the prestigious Jones Hall in the Houston Theater District on August 29, 2009.
